We want to talk to you

You've spent years building a successful child care business, and it has been a satisfying and rewarding endeavor. You provided leadership to your center management team, teachers and staff. You nurtured relationships with the local communities. Most importantly, you have touched the lives of the children in your care every day.

Now, it might be time for a change. You may be contemplating the pursuit of another goal or dream and are perhaps ready to explore a potential sale. However, you want to ensure that the business you've put your heart and soul into transitions to a team as passionate about early childhood education and care as you are.

We are here to partner with you in this very important decision.

The Leader In The Industry

Portland, Oregon-based KinderCare Learning Centers and our premium brand, Knowledge Beginnings, are the nation’s leading private providers of early childhood education and care with nearly 1,900 community-based centers in 38 states and the District of Columbia.

We offer creative and balanced educational services that focus on school readiness. Our proprietary, research-based curricula and a variety of enrichment programs including phonics, reading, math, foreign language and music are delivered in a safe, nurturing environment that inspires commitment and dedication to the many children and families we serve.

We encourage an entrepreneurial approach to center operations where our center directors make the day-to-day decisions that impact their center. We recognize that each center services the unique needs of its families and community, and as the industry leader, we stand behind every center with our extensive resources and support.

A Trusted Partner For You And Your Business

Our business philosophy is simple. We believe that any relationship we develop must be based on three key principles: trust, respect and honesty.

Our approach is to work side-by-side with you throughout the process to determine if a sale is right for both of us. Together, we will evaluate your business to ensure there is a cultural and brand fit within our various offerings and discuss all facets of operations.

We've developed a simple four-step acquisition process:

  1. Non-Disclosure Confidentiality Agreement
  2. Initial Business Evaluation and Fair Purchase Price Offer
  3. Letter of Intent to Transact Purchase
  4. Due Diligence Process to Resolve Open Issues and Close of Sale

The purchase may be completed as quickly as 90 days from the Letter of Intent. When appropriate, we may consider continued employment in a mutually beneficial leadership capacity.

A Thoughtful Transition Strategy

When we mutually determine that a sale is the right decision for you and your company, we will work with you to plan the transition and ensure that parent, staff and community relationships are integrated in a thoughtful, practical and efficient manner.

Our goal is to develop an integration plan that minimizes disruption to the children and families at the center(s), and retains the expertise and staff that you have worked so hard to cultivate.

The Benefits Of Joining Our Organization

There are many significant benefits that your center(s) will immediately enjoy as part of our family. These include:
